Grana Padano is a semi-hard PDO cheese, produced with cow’s milk, starter culture, salt, rennet and. Grana Padano cheese is produced and processed in 5 different Regions in Italy, namely Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia Romagna and Trentino South Tyrol. It’s from these regions that Grana Padano’s traditions and heritage were established. Aging varies from a minimum of 9 months to 24 months. It is naturally free of lactose due to the characteristics of its production and ageing process.
